About Me

It all began with a love for storytelling and fantasy. I grew up in Denver, Colorado running around in my backyard with wooden bow and arrow, chasing the monsters away. So, when my mother put me in dance it just felt .... right.  I loved stepping into characters and situations through my dance and giving my whole self in the process. Trying out these characters made me understand myself, my life, our world and other people around me better.

Although my family didn't always have the means to provide the upmost rigorous training, I was determined to carry out the story. I stayed after hours in the studios creating, innovating and perfecting my technique. I created costumes from scraps and sewed them in my academic classes. I worked several jobs to upkeep my training. Whenever I had the chance to enter the studio, I always entered unashamed, fearless, grateful and inspired by those around me.

Entering the dance industry now, to me it's not about landing the coolest jobs or stepping in the most gorgeous costumes. It's about creating everlasting relationships with those around me.  Dance is about what you bring to the table, and its more than what you physically can do. It's about energy you bring to the room. How YOU can create unbreakable bonds with your collaborators and thus transcend those bonds it to your audience. No one can replicate your story because it's only yours to tell
